From the making to the maturing, between tradition and modernity, the gestures, the know-how ... make the specificity of Abondance cheese. The exchanges with the mediator will allow you to discover the subtleties of this exceptional cheese.
We propose you an immersion in the territory, to meet these men and these women who put their know-how in the service of a common goal: the taste of cheese.
From the production to the maturing process, between tradition and modernity... the gestures, the know-how, the passion make the specificity of the Abondance PDO cheese but also of the 7 other labeled cheeses of Savoie.
Discussions with the mediator will allow you to discover all the subtleties of these exceptional cheeses as well as some advice on how to cut them, compose a platter, cook them or even taste them.

Prices
Full price: Admission + 3 €.
Free entry for children < 6 years.
Reservations must be made at least one hour before the start of the visit at the Maison du Fromage Abondance or at the Abondance tourist information office.
